What is Haute Perfumerie?
Haute Parfumerie is an exclusive service for creating your Bespoke Perfume.
What is Per Fumum Ex?
Per Fumum Ex is the exclusive service of IPG Fragrances Sarl for Bespoke Perfumes and Limited Edition series. Signature Parfumée is dedicated to you personally, Ambiance Parfumée is a service for your Home.
How does it work?
Together with our Perfumers, you will create your Personal Perfume (Signature Parfumée) or your Home Fragrance (Ambiance Parfumée). This process typically consists of:
· Information collection, where we will ask series of questions to understand your inner world.
· Online or face to face meeting (s) with the Perfumer.
· Laboratory trials sent to you on a continuous basis until project approval.
· Production of your fragrance and line of products.
How long does it take?
· Typical delivery times are within 6 months, but can be extended to 1 year. As a bespoke service, duration can vary based on project complexity and modifications.
What does the Signature Parfumée service include?
The following products in fully personalized packaging of 50/75/100 ml will be delivered to you:
Perfume (originally created formula for you) 1 litre Winter version of the perfume

What does the Ambiance Parfumée service include?

How many lab trials are included?
50 reformulations are included in the service. In the rare case that further trials are requested, these are billed at €1000 per 5 trials, plus shipping, customs and other related charges. Additional costs are incurred only with the advance approval of the client.
What is the formula?
The formula created remains secret and is exclusively reserved for the person mentioned as Owner in the Service Activation procedures. Paying or other parties have no rights over the creation, unless expressly requested in the Activation form. The formula remains the property of IPG Fragrances Sarl, Switzerland with exclusive usage rights granted to the Owner for a period of 5 years, renewable free of charge by means of a written notification 6 months prior to rights expiration. Formula rights cannot be sold or ceded to third parties in any form and cannot survive the owner. IPG Fragrances Sarl reserves the right to make modifications to the approved formula at any time in the case of legislative or normative changes. The Client acknowledges that these modifications may result in olfactory, visual or content alterations that may have an effect on already existing products.
What are the norms?
IPG Fragrances Sarl shall proceed on its own or via third parties with the fragrance and final products production in compliance with the norms and regulations applicable in the European Union. IPG reserves the right to deny submitting an offer for manufacturing a product for technical/health/legislative or other motivated reasons.
Can I order a refill?
The Owner of the fragrance can order refills at any time. These are priced from €89 /100 ml. plus shipping charges, taxes, duties, and other expenses levied on the goods upon their delivery (if and when applicable). Minimum order is 1000 ml (1 litre).
Lifetime services
Clients can request at any time a rework of their Perfume at a fractional cost of the initial service. A detailed offer will be submitted based on the client’s specific demand and the number of laboratory trials required.
Can I order other products?
Yes, with your Perfume we can produce your own line of products. Please note that this wish has to be declared PRIOR to the initial formulation. We reserve the right to deny the manufacturing of a product for technical/health/legislative or other motivated reasons. Minimum quantities apply.
Is the Perfume evolving over time?
Yes. The formula may contain many natural ingredients, which will evolve over time and lead to alterations in the smell/colour/texture.
Who can use my Perfume?
The Per Fumum Ex services are for private use only, and the resulting perfume cannot be commercialized by the client in any manner. Commercial usage is defined as the use of more than 6 litres of fragrance per annum. In the case of interest in commercialization, you are kindly requested to contact us.
Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
IPG Fragrances Sarl strives for excellence in customer satisfaction. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately. As a Bespoke Service, refunds, returns, and exchanges are not possible.
Medical & Other Information
The Owner is responsible to communicate to us in writing any medical and other information in regards to allergies, skin reactions and other issues which may affect his/her health and the formulation. IPG Fragrances Sarl cannot be held responsible in any manner for issues which arise as a result of the
formulation and the absence of adequate information. In the case of Limited Edition perfumes, the client should discuss these with the sales advisor prior to purchasing a product.
Activation, postponing & cancellation
The Per Fumum Ex service should be activated within 6 months from purchase. The Owner can request a further extension for a period of 1 year. The request should be done in writing and forwarded by registered mail. It should feature the activation codes and the particulars of the Owner. Reimbursements are not possible. Failure to abide to the above calendar will result in loss of right to the service, without reimbursement.
The Per Fumum Ex service is a joint project with the client. In the case of non-response from a client during the process of work, the service will be cancelled after a period of 6 months, leading to a loss of the rights to the service. Reimbursements are not possible.
